Simes House - Manomet's past reawakens
Santa's helpers needed to decorate house, Bart for annual tree lighting
The annual Manomet Christmas Tree Lighting will be Friday, Nov. 28 at 6pm. “Bart,” as the tree is named, is on Manomet Commons on the grounds of the Simes House, 29 Manomet Point Road, Plymouth. Parking is available across the street at Manomet Plaza. The event is free.
The event is sponsored by St. Bonaventure Knights of Columbus, Cub Scout Pack 51 and Simes House Foundation.
Volunteers are needed to help decorate the Simes House exterior on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 10am. Email Margaret McSharry (email@example.com) or Linda Williams (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
Santa’s helpers are also needed on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 9am to set up lighting and the grounds for the tree lighting.
